Of 1,735 lines, 125 (7%) lines were wintery or segregating or did not germinate, so no data was collected on these lines or data was non-informative. The remaining lines showed a range of resistance and susceptible disease response; 820 (47%) lines with high to moderate levels of resistance (0-30% disease severity), 319 (18%) lines moderately resistance to moderately susceptible (30-70% disease severity), and 471 (27%) susceptible to highly susceptible (71-100% disease severity). Thirty-three genotypes carrying high levels of stripe rust resistance (based on Toluca data) and leaf rust resistance (Cobbitty data) were identified
