The Australian Cereal Rust Control Program (ACRCP) is a collaborative research program which enables the improved resistance of Australian cereal varieties to rust diseases. The ACRCP has been co-funded by the research partners and by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) since it started in 2002. The program is now in its 5th phase.

Current research partners include:

GRDC is responsible for planning, investing in and overseeing research, development and extension (RD&E) for 25 leviable grain crops in Australia. Our purpose is to invest in RD&E to create enduring profitability for Australian grain growers. For more information, please see GRDC’s website.
